Sergio Lozano's 1995 design for Nike drew on human anatomy, and three decades on the Air Max 95 still reads like a sketch from a biology textbook rendered in suede-free layers. This women's pair returns to the shape of the original, with the larger heel bubble that gives the Big Bubble its name, finished in a cool Blue Tint colourway.
The textile and synthetic layered upper carries the familiar body-inspired lines, paired with webbed eyelets and rib-like laces. Below sits a blacked-out foam midsole with Max Air bubbles showing in the heel, a sharp contrast against the paler tones above. Flex grooves run through the rubber sole, and reflective elements catch the light after dark. The Swoosh signs it off. A pair for those who remember the 95 the first time round, and for those meeting it properly now.
