Denim Tears The Cotton Wreath Hooded Sweatshirt 'Grey'

£299.99

Small

Brand: Denim Tears
Model: The Cotton Wreath Hooded Sweatshirt
Colour: Grey
Material: Cotton blend

Few motifs in contemporary menswear carry as much weight as the cotton wreath. Tremaine Emory founded Denim Tears in 2019 to tell the story of the African diaspora through clothing, and the wreath of cotton plants became its best-known emblem. It is a deliberate reference to the crop at the centre of American slavery, worn as an act of remembrance.

In grey, the design reads quietly. It sits comfortably beneath a navy overcoat or alongside tailored wool trousers, and works just as well with dark denim and clean leather sneakers at the weekend. The hood gives it an easy, relaxed line, and the cotton blend offers genuine warmth on cooler London mornings.

This is a considered piece for the client who likes their clothing to have something to say, and the restraint to say it softly.
