Chrome Hearts began in Los Angeles in 1988, when Richard Stark set out to make leather gear for the motorcycle crowd he rode with. That biker spirit has never left the house, and this thermal skully carries it in its most wearable form.

A close-fitting skull cap in black waffle knit, it sits neatly to the head rather than slouching. That makes it as natural with a cashmere overcoat on a cold morning in town as it is with a leather jacket at the weekend. The Chrome Hearts horseshoe and cross logo is printed in white, a clean contrast against the black and instantly recognisable to anyone who knows the house's silver.
