Goyard began as a Parisian trunk-maker in 1853, and the hatbox has always been one of its most characterful shapes. The Alto carries that heritage in a size meant for daily life rather than the luggage rack, and this edition is dressed in the exclusive Capitonnage Goyardine canvas: a deep, dark ground with smaller white chevrons for a subtle contrast. The pattern is a deliberate nod to the quilting that once lined the house's historic trunks, so the reference to its origins sits right on the surface.

It is as practical as it is elegant. Thanks to the removable chain strap, it can be worn on the shoulder or cross-body for the day. Unclip the chain and it becomes an evening clutch carried by hand. Please return the item in the condition you received it, with all tags, packaging, box, dust bag and receipt. You are welcome to examine an item as you would in a shop, but we may reduce your refund if it has been worn or used beyond that.

Once we have received and checked the item, we will refund you, including the original standard delivery charge, to your original payment method within 14 days. Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Every piece is inspected by our team when it arrives with us and again before it is dispatched. We check the leather, stitching, hardware, stamps and codes against the house's own standards, along with the condition and any box, dust bag and receipt that accompany it.
