Each December, Chanel's Métiers d'Art collection pays tribute to the specialist ateliers the house has gathered under its wing since 2002, the embroiderers, feather workers and goldsmiths whose hands sit behind its most accomplished pieces. This small shopping bag from the 2026 show carries that spirit into something you can actually use every day.
The tweed is the point of interest here. Gabrielle Chanel took to the fabric in the 1920s, borrowing it from the Scottish country wardrobe and making it her own, and it has remained one of the house's signatures ever since. Here it is worked in brown, black and white with mixed fibres, then paired with calfskin and gold-tone metal. The result reads warm and textural, at ease over a camel coat in town or with knitwear at the weekend, and modest enough in scale to carry by hand or in the crook of the arm.

RETURNS
You have 14 days from the day your order is delivered to tell us you would like to return it, for any reason. Start your return at crepsuk.com/pages/returns: answer a few questions and print your returns slip. The item then needs to reach us within 14 days of your request.
Please return the item in the condition you received it, with all tags, packaging, box, dust bag and receipt. You are welcome to examine an item as you would in a shop, but we may reduce your refund if it has been worn or used beyond that.
Once we have received and checked the item, we will refund you, including the original standard delivery charge, to your original payment method within 14 days. Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights.
